At Greenpeace, every day is Earth Day. But, for some people, Earth Day is the one day each year that they really think about the serious environmental challenges facing our planet.

That's why we decided to take to the streets of Chicago -- President Obama's hometown -- on this special day and transform a Michigan Avenue bridge into a bold statement about the future. You've already seen the results.

The message was pretty simple: Imagine clean energy now. And it's not a fantasy either. If you�ve checked out Greenpeace�s Energy [R]evolution report then you know that we really can stop the worst effects of global warming if we act now. But it�s going to take all of us, working together and building a movement, to make it happen.
