Japan: If defending whales is a crime, arrest me.

If Japan is going to start rounding up political prisoners for the crime of defending whales, they're going to have to arrest a whole heaping lot of us.

Sign the petition to stand in solidarity with Junichi and Toru.

First Junichi and Toru... Then, you.

By signing the petition below, you'll show your solidarity with Junichi and Toru — and tell the government of Japan that protecting the whales shouldn't be a crime.

This action is a public petition. info

Petition:

If Junichi Sato and Toru Suzuki have committed a crime by opposing the scandal and corruption of Japanís whaling program, you must arrest me for assisting them.

All of us who have supported efforts to save the whales with time, money, or by lending our name to letter-writing campaigns, petitions, virtual marches, or e-cards are complicit in Junichi and Toruís actions.

If you are going to start rounding up political prisoners for the crime of defending whales, you will need to arrest a great many people around the world...

...Beginning with me.

I support the work of Junichi, Toru, Greenpeace, and fellow citizens of humanity just like me who are working together to save the whales.
