Stop Canada's Seal Hunt is completed
12875 people took part.

Canada recently concluded a three-year plan that resulted in the death of roughly one million harp seals - the largest slaughter of marine mammals on the planet. Over 300,000 baby seals were killed in 2005 alone. In the face of considerable opposition from Canadian citizens and people around the world, the Canadian government is still moving forward with plans to continue the seal hunt in 2006. This fall, Canada's Department of Fisheries and Oceans will be announcing their next multi-year seal hunt plan. Stand by for opportunities to take action on this critical issue.
