Act Now to Protect Our Priceless National Forests is completed
7684 people took part.
In the four months since the Bush administration moved to replace the Roadless Rule, a whopping 1.7 million people across the U.S. told the Forest Service to protect our national forests. Nearly 11,000 of you took action through this website alone, and thousands more sent postcards and signed petitions.
It may take several months for the Forest Service to publicly announce its final decision - protect our public lands or sell them off to private interests - but you can be certain we will be watching this issue carefully. Please stay tuned for more information - we may need your help again to keep our priceless national forests intact.
