Three moms and their kids, (11 in all!) met at my apartment in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to talk about global warming, play out in the sun, call Congress, and draw a giant mural of how we feel about the Earth, Puerto Rico, and our environment. We had a great time! It was wonderful to see how the kids (ages 3 to 9) got so involved and showed how much they know about what is happening to our planet, and what we should do to create change. We were working on our fabric until dark. The kids were so into this activity that they kept coming up with more and more things to add to the sheet! This was a wonderful activity.
