On October 22nd, Pitt Greenpeace went to the Waterfront smokestacks for our 100 Actions for Clean Energy event. Fourteen student activists on our team, with a few CAPA high schoolers from downtown Pittsburgh, had photos and videos shot right beside these smokestacks representing dirty energy. Fellow activists united and voiced out messages for a change toward renewables. It is truly inspiring to work with a diverse group of students sharing a common goal of preserving our environment, creating a clean energy future, and demanding clean energy -- now!
